About me

I am mostly a self-taught artisan, or mother/grandmother/aunt-taught, learning techniques and design from the people in my life and from books, the web and my own innate sensibilities. 

I am a writer, and write often for my work in higher education but also enjoy writing poetry and essays.

I am a librarian, a technologist, and I am interested in education.

I have been blogging very quietly since 2005.
